The Buchanan Centre is a 9,000 sq. ft. accessible wellness centre dedicated to people living with Parkinson's disease, their care-partners and their families. This facility, the first of it's kind in Canada, is committed to helping people living with mobility disorders by offering a full complement of high-quality resources, programs, support, education and information sessions with support from a wide variety of professionals including neurologists, psychiatrists, family physicians, geriatricians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, speech therapists, nurse specialists, recreation specialists and other community organizations.

This specialized and flexible building is designed to accommodate a variety of activities, and will be a warm, welcoming, safe and barrier-free community meeting place.
